Bailit Health staff is comprised of a close-working team of senior consultants. Multiple team members are involved on most projects. The team is complemented, on an as-needed basis, by a cadre of specialty subject matter experts with whom we have worked for years.
Erin Taylor offers experience in public health, health care policy analysis, and payment and delivery system reform. Her work at Bailit Health has included evaluation and design of payment models for Medicaid long-term services and supports in multiple states. She has studied state certification processes for accountable care organizations and has supported the development of ACO standards for Vermont. Erin has also performed research and co–authored a brief on integrating public health functions with health care delivery for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
Prior to joining Bailit Health, Erin worked on health care payment and delivery system reform initiatives at the Massachusetts Office of Medicaid. While at the Office of Medicaid, Erin gained experience in the development of managed care programs for individuals with dual Medicare and Medicaid eligibility. Erin helped implement a CMS Financial Alignment Demonstration that integrates the financing and delivery of medical care, behavioral health care, and long–term services and supports for individuals with disabilities. She recommended program and policy changes based on an evaluation of early program experience, and prepared presentations, reports, and program updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Previously, Erin completed a fellowship at Health Leads where she gained experience with a health care delivery model structured around the social determinants of health. Health Leads supports primary care providers by connecting patients and their families to non–medical resources that are critical for health and wellness, such as food and housing. She also gained experience in research operations, grant management, and process improvement methods at Partners HealthCare.
Erin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Health Law, Bioethics, and Human Rights from Boston University.
