Bailit Health staff is comprised of a close–working team of senior consultants. Multiple team members are involved on most projects. The team is complemented, on an as-needed basis, by a cadre of specialty subject matter experts with whom we have worked for years.
Chris joined Bailit Health in 2022. His current work includes supporting states in assessing medical expenditure against their cost growth targets. He is also supporting a Massachusetts provider network to develop strategic goals for delivering accessible, high-value care in the face of financial and regulatory challenges. Prior to joining Bailit Health, Chris was a graduate student at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. During his time at Harvard, Chris worked as a Research Assistant for both the Harvard Education and Research Center for Occupational Safety and Health and the Exposure, Epidemiology, and Risk Program. In these positions, he conducted analysis on the effects of environmental toxins, such as radon and smoking, on pulmonary diseases. Additionally, Chris worked as a Research Assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Sleep Disorders Clinical Research Program, where he conducted data management and analysis for longitudinal studies and randomized controlled trials.
In 2020, Chris served as a Mindich Service Fellow at the Center of Quality Improvement and Innovation. During this fellowship, he supported the development of an initiative to reduce disparities in access and treatment for HIV/AIDS patients by synthesizing literature on various disadvantaged groups and reviewing evidence-based interventions to reduce these disparities. Chris completed a summer internship at Health Resources in Action in 2021 (HRiA) and served as Operations Director at Y2Y Harvard Square, a youth homeless shelter. At HRiA, Chris provided a review of the literature on the effects of air pollution on asthma severity and onset within children and supported the implementation of air monitoring systems within schools in Massachusetts. At Y2Y, Chris managed communications between Y2Y staff and partner organizations, conducted analysis to measure the effects of internal policies on access to services, and provided support during the transition to COVID-era operations.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College and a Master of Science from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
