Bailit Health staff is comprised of a close-working team of senior consultants. Multiple team members are involved on most projects. The team is complemented, on an as-needed basis, by a cadre of specialty subject matter experts with whom we have worked for years.

Erin Campbell, M.P.H. (she, her)
Managing Director

Erin brings 25 years of professional experience advancing public sector programs. Since 2004, Erin has helped federal and state government agencies implement health care legislation, policies, and programs. She brings expertise in designing and implementing health policy strategies, translating health policy innovations to practical operations in government environments, and operating at the intersections of policy and technology. Since 2017, Erin has specialized in Medicaid programs and coverage for the uninsured.

As a Managing Director with Bailit Health, Erin works primarily with State Medicaid agencies and managed care health plans to design and implement quality improvement and VBP policy and procurement strategies. Erin also supports Bailit Health´s work with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation´s State Health and Value Strategies program, providing states with technical assistance and resources on a variety of health and value topics. Erin´s work at Bailit Health has also included assisting states with primary care transformation initiatives and CMS program evaluations.

Prior to joining Bailit Health, Erin held several leadership positions within the Medicaid agency at the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), including Acting Medicaid Director, Senior Staff Advisor to the Medicaid Director, and Chief of Medicaid Quality Improvement and Innovations. Erin´s LDH work centered around the strategy and implementation of delivery system and payment innovations to improve health outcomes for Louisiana´s Medicaid managed care population. She played a key role in the development of Louisiana Medicaid´s next generation managed care procurement strategy and design of key policies, the design and implementation of Medicaid´s managed care quality improvement strategy and value-based payment (VBP) program, and instituting related quality and VBP performance withholds.

Before working for the State of Louisiana, Erin spent 17 years working as a consultant at Accenture and Booz Allen Hamilton where she was responsible for leading portfolios of health reform and policy programs for state, commercial, and federal health clients, including implementation of Affordable Care Act policies.

Erin earned a bachelor´s degree in business management from Virginia Tech and a Master of Public Health degree from The George Washington University where she specialized in health policy.
